There is a school of consideration that toys with simply one likely function can - by their extremely nature and limit mind. Given method that kids can take out apparently endless pleasure out of anything from a little pebble to an empty box, I can see where they’re coming from.

Bugge is an example of this way of thoughts. Seven organic shape is can be stacked or collective in whatever ways children prefer; its maker, Ingse Galtung Døsvig, says she was amazed by the uses kids found for it, above and beyond what she had likely herself. The shapes became dens, a shop, a tunnel, and lots more besides.

Bugge is a type of student project, from Bergen’s general Academy of Arts. Though, if you are involved to read more, there are quite a few links at the end of the article linked to above.

It is a forever best thing when a toy incorporates several thoughts into one product. The All-In-One-House is an enjoyable little play set when the pieces are taken apart, but when it is time to clean up everything fits neatly together in a sort of puzzle. This is a fun house to play with, and helps kids with their organizational and spatial skills when it is time to put the toy away.
